Founded in 1968 by Buzz Potamkin, Candy Kugel and Vincent Cafarelli as co-creative directors and Marilyn Kraemer as executive producer. Begining with the animated versions of The Berenstain Bears, the studios works also included many popular commercials such as the Hawaiian Punch ads, the "I Want My MTV" campaign, and the "Top of the Hour" network ID for MTV. Renamed as Buzzco Associates in 1983.

Perpetual Motion Pictures was based in New York, New York USA.
